No Matter What

It’s been a while. The truth is, I wasn’t sure I’d ever resume the writing of this blog. I can’t even promise it will get back on track the way I’d originally imagined. When I first started it I was feeling full of life and optimism. That hasn’t necessarily changed. The best way I can describe it is that those feelings were muted this past winter. One day I’ll be able to share more about that season.

Today, however, I’m just thankful. I’m thankful for family and friends that love in big, gentle, and quiet ways. I’m thankful to FEEL alive. I’m thankful that my faith is greater than any way the enemy can try to thwart it. I’m thankful to have been able to see and hug my parents and grandparents this summer.  I’m so very thankful to have the honor of raising two young men with John.

Give thanks in every circumstance…

No Matter What!

  1. No matter what, our God is with us through it all. Even when we’re hurting, He never leaves us. May we always praise Him regardless of our trials and tribulations.

  2. I’m sure you remember when I used to tell you that there’s an appointed time for everything; a time to be silent and a time to share your thoughts (Ecleciastes 3:7).

I am thankful that you found the time to share your thoughts again. I am certain that through your sharing, our Almighty God will continue to give you peace in your heart, and happiness with your beautiful boys and loving husband. 💜💜💜💜💜

    1. How can I forget? It’s taken me a while to truly appreciate this concept but appreciate all the times you let me cry in your arms. You were so right! The plans God had/has for me are more beautiful than anything my teenage or even young adult self could have ever imagined.
