It’s been a while. The truth is, I wasn’t sure I’d ever resume the writing of this blog. I can’t even promise it will get back on track the way I’d originally imagined. When I first started it I was feeling full of life and optimism. That hasn’t necessarily changed. The best way I can describe it is that those feelings were muted this past winter. One day I’ll be able to share more about that season.

Today, however, I’m just thankful. I’m thankful for family and friends that love in big, gentle, and quiet ways. I’m thankful to FEEL alive. I’m thankful that my faith is greater than any way the enemy can try to thwart it. I’m thankful to have been able to see and hug my parents and grandparents this summer.  I’m so very thankful to have the honor of raising two young men with John.
